What does Angels Shelter do and where do you operate?
Angels Shelter is a community-driven charity based in London. Our work focuses on two key areas:
- UK Community Support: We encourage and coordinate donations of money, clothing, food, groceries and household essentials, alongside volunteering and partnerships with individuals and businesses, to help people experiencing financial hardship and other challenges.
- International Support – Sri Lanka & Thailand: We support vulnerable communities through donations of clothing, household essentials and other necessities, while working towards alleviating poverty and homelessness and improving access to shelter and education.
Through the generosity of our donors, volunteers and community partners, Angel Shelters aims to restore dignity, ease hardship and bring hope to those who need it most in the UK, Thailand and Sri Lanka.
How can I get involved or support your mission?
We rely heavily on the kindness of our community to keep our mission alive. You can get involved in several ways:
Donate: We accept donations of money, food, clothes, and essentials. You can also contribute to our Give A Meal Campaign, where providing just one meal can directly touch a life.
Volunteer: Give your time to help us serve meals or organize donations.

What is the "Give A Meal" campaign and how does it work?
Our “Give A Meal” campaign is a featured initiative built on a simple premise: 1 Meal = 1 Act of Kindness = 1 Life Touched. By participating, you can help feed someone experiencing food insecurity. You can choose to contribute on a weekly or monthly basis, and your donation will directly fund the hot, nutritious meals served at our community kitchen.
