Our UK Community Kitchen is at the heart of what we do locally. Every week, we provide hot, nutritious meals to individuals and families facing hardship across Watford and its surrounding areas. We see firsthand how a warm meal does more than just nourish the body; it provides comfort, shows someone they are cared for, and restores a sense of dignity. With the incredible support of local people and businesses, we have been able to serve meals regularly. However, as the cost of living rises, more families are struggling to afford basic necessities, and the demand continues to grow.

Angels Shelters is a community-driven charity based in Stanmore, London. We focus our support in two primary areas:

  • UK Community Kitchen: We provide hot, nutritious meals to individuals and families facing hardship in Watford and the surrounding areas.

  • Support in Sri Lanka: We extend our mission internationally by providing clothing donations, household essentials, shelter support, and educational initiatives to underprivileged communities in Sri Lanka.

We rely heavily on the kindness of our community to keep our mission alive. You can get involved in several ways:

  • Donate: We accept donations of money, food, clothes, and essentials. You can also contribute to our Give A Meal Campaign, where providing just one meal can directly touch a life.

  • Volunteer: Give your time to help us serve meals or organize donations.

  • Partner With Us: We welcome partnerships and sponsorships from local businesses and organizations.

Our “Give A Meal” campaign is a featured initiative built on a simple premise: 1 Meal = 1 Act of Kindness = 1 Life Touched. By participating, you can help feed someone experiencing food insecurity. You can choose to contribute on a weekly or monthly basis, and your donation will directly fund the hot, nutritious meals served at our community kitchen.
